Mange Merde, San Jose!
So the San Jose fans booed their way through the Canadian anthem at the last game? Well, tonight, the Oilers' fans cheered their way through the American anthem, happily sang their way through their own, and them settled back to watch their team make shark fin soup out of the opposition, with a final score of 2-0. Yes, Virginia, there really is a God, and tonight she was humming the Canadian anthem to herself and wearing an Oilers' jersey.

Well, the San Jose Mayor had a little more class. He apologized for the booing. Apparenly, the Sharks had 10 Canadians suited up for that game ... those players weren't so happy with the booing either.
I thought it was beyond tacky that they did it and I am sure the team was less than thrilled as it brings a negative vibe to the game right off the bat.
:)) It was nice to see them eating crow and I am sure they felt even crappier when we cheered their national anthem. :)) Canadians truly do have more class.
