Pizza Puzzles Professors
A recent study conducted at a hospital in Milan, Italy, has researchers scratching their heads for an explanation. Apparently, people who eat a lot of pizza (two or more 200 g portions of pizza a week) are less than half as likely to suffer a heart attack as those who indulge in its tomato sauce-covered delight only occasionally. The discovery was made by doctors who analysed the eating habits of 507 patients, and compard them with 478 other patients. Even those who eat four portions or less a month still gain some protection. Why? Who cares why? Just dial up the take-out and order another large to go!

I was just reading your blog about the Beyond Words Bookclub - I stumbled upon it when I googled 'beyond words bookclub'.
The words that you choose to use to describe Vancouver's downtown eastside and the 'hookers' is appalling. I find it sad when The Beyond Words bookclub is not just for 'hookers' as you call them but for women who live in the area as well.
As for what took place at the bookclubs it sounds as if you were actually there and I doubt that. So how do you know all that goes on at these bookclubs? It's hilarious that you talk about they who "make judgmental assumptions about these women, and their lives" because that's what you're doing.
Also this blog is probably the worst I've seen yet.
OK ... to the Anonymous commenter above: you're a moron. That was out of context for this entry. What does it have to do with pizza? or tomato sauce?
For those curious, this is the post that the moron is questioning. Read it, read his/her comments, and see if it makes sense.
Anyway -- back to pizza -- I think I'm having pizza tonight, tomorrow morning for breakfast, maybe for lunch too ... I think the leftovers will be gone by supper time.
Dude! I'm ordering pizza Tonight!!
